Allen Hartle is an award winning, serial entrepreneur who has pioneered FM radio metadata technology enabling Artist & Title in car radios & consumer products for 30+ years. His groundbreaking products have served thousands of radio stations & millions of radio listeners worldwide.
Orcas Island, of the Pacific Northwest's San Juan Islands, is the home of Allen's "Metadata Laboratory". A hub for a global community of colleagues, friends and family who have contributed to the many product development efforts over the years. Allen, his wife Liberte plus an assortment of forest creatures live on Mt. Constitution, overlooking Eastsound, WA.
StayAlert is a Washington 501c3 non profit organization that is dedicated to public service including emergency alerts to our home community.

StayAlert has received FCC approval for an LPFM station: 102.3 KIXP FM, to serve as a test environment as we create a new collection of RDS/RDS2 tools.
